Feeling Pretty "Pumped"
Feeling Pretty "Pumped"
With the release of the TVS so close I figured it was time to purchase a few remaining supporting parts I needed, got one in the mail from Summit today:
Aeromotive 11109 to be used externally inline:

Brian (Area47)......I needz to know what relay to use to run this thing at the same time as the stocker. Going to use the method of the 12v from the stock pump as the relay wire and fused power directly from the trunk.

"Maintaining" pressure as I like to call it.

my suggestion is to find a very quality relay. bosch or better. 40 amp prefered. buy a spare as well. think of it like a back up.
if you're feeling really froggy, i can do a diagram for dual relays

The Summit pages list the maximum pressure as the rated pressure for the rated flow. This pump is actually stamped 125 max psi. By keeping it before the fuel filter you use the stock regulator and this is simply supplementing the stock setup. Perfect for 400whp imo.
yea but by doing this right now were maintaining pressure but after the tvs swap ur gonna have problems keeping up with stock correct? which adding this will help boost the pressure up..i dunno witt its too early to think lol
I figure the most pressure this car will ever see in the manifold is ~2.8 bar, 25psi at my altitude. Maintain the stock 58psi vs. the 25psi manifold pressure. A set of 800cc+ injectors can keep up with the airflow to go along with it imo.
