Koni & Sportlines or Coilovers?

Whats better to have?

Koni front and back with Sportlines.

or

Coilovers?

I know coilovers are adjustable and w/ the konis they only are adjustable firmness levels.

Whats better?

Whats not?

Whats the advantages of both?

And why?

Thanks a lot for your time. I did search so don't try noobing me down here . I couldn't find anything comparing the two.

Well I have sportlines with the konis and I absolutely love the setup!

I'm not too knowledgable on coilovers so I'll let someone else speak for me.

Don't half ass it man! Get what you want.

or i know. thats why im asking first . i want to know the best set up to use.

I have a set of Koni struts front and back laying right next to me as i type this . I also have Sportlines on my car as well . Im just waiting for warm weather and my new rims to finally decided what to put on. If coilvers are better. then therefore ill sell these ( koni, and sportlines)

coilovers ftw

32 way adjustable dampening
ride height adjustability
quality

list goes on

Id look into multiple sets other than the k sport.

b+g gravanatuning.com
BC SPORT - Modernperformance.com
KW Variant 1 or 2 - I believe gravana carries these; you may wanna check turbotechracing too

Im currently running the BC sport and loving it.

I have my front two struts set at 15 on the dampening, and my rears on full hard 31.5. The ride quality is smooth, and the handling is whats expected from a coilovers.

I've had both and to me, for daily driving, Koni's and whatever springs are the better choice...IMO.

If you go to the track at all, autoX and whatnot, coilovers would be the best pick...IMO

i only put down konis and sportlines because the coilovers listed are the cheapest batch you can find. If you listed any other coilover i'd think otherwise.

Totally agree, I chose Koni + Sportlines for the same reason in this poll. Depending on your goals and budget, you may want to look into other coilover options. I personally researched for many weeks before finally making a decision and saved up the extra cash.

Your gunna spend less on konis and springs then you will with coilovers. Coilovers are for those who race alot and need to adjust your spring settings for a certain race. So if you are just driving around town then konis and springs are cheaper and your better off

Do you really need a

TWM short shifter
Kicker tweeter with 6.5 Peerless midbass
Audiobahn flame Q sub
Elemental design nine 2 amp
Injen intake
35% Tint front 15% back
H&R race springs
17" Motegi DV5 gloss black
Yokohama Avid H4S tires ?????????????

obviously i dont need them but like everybody else here im here to upgrade my car and in this case the suspension. So what I need is the best set up for my situation.

Price isn't much difference i mean ksports are around 900 and for sportlines, koni struts and adjustable cambers ring at about 850 or so is the cheapest i found.. so it really makes it a hard choice. and this is a hard choice cause i know nothing about either
