If any of you have made it to an auto show and have sat in the inside of the new 09 SS what do you think of the seats? It is ridiculous how it hugs your ass. This car should have probably came with these in 05 but it takes GM a few years to actually figure **** out. I am speaking from the leather seats not the Recaros. I'm sure a p/n is not out for these yet since the car hasn't even been released yet. Whoever can get any info that works on the inside should probably find out how much these will cost. End of rant.

 

Ive sat in them, and they are amazing... and why does everyone say 09, the SS/TC comes out 2Q 2008... it will be an 08 model

the only stock seat that i have sat in that has a better feel than my recaros.. was a 2004 AMG Mercedes (supercharged)

 

They didn't have the SS/TC at the auto show in my area. They did have a HHR SS though. BTW, the SS/TC coupe enters the market as a 2008.5 and the sedan will be a 2009.

 

sit in the srt4 neon seats or the caliber srt4 seats..they have some badass seats and are much better then the ss/tc

yeah the srt4 seats and viper seats are amazing. I do think the new ss/tc seats are sweet though. Im putting in my custom racing seats today though and they are going to be great.

But pgrading to ss/tc seast would be sweet for some people, problem is they will be as expensive as the recaros are to buy from GM

 

Yeah the HHR seats were nice too. Any speculation on how much the T/C seats will cost or a part number if anyone has one?

 

i work in parts at a gm dealer, as soon as we get the new ss/tc in our catalog i will let everyone know. we finally just got the g8 in our system, badass

 

The seats are amazing wish I had them in my car lol probably mad expensive
