Hood Problem



I got home from a trip a week ago and car was dead. opened hood to jump the car and when i closed the hood didnt close all the way. So now when it is closed the driver side sticks up like this.

Any idea how to fix it?

looks like a hood strut needs to be replaced

its right at the pivot point where it looks like there bracket or connection is turned up...

cmon guys.... anybody?

open it...and check to make sure all the bolts on the hinge mechanism are there and tight...if those come loose the hood could do this..something is DEF loose or broken...

mine was like that on the passenger side. but mine was caused by the dealer they closed my hood on something when they were changing my oil.
