With all of these new pics of the Cobalt SS from the different auto shows they seem to be missing the white gauges...and they are the newer version of the SS too, the one that has the SS badge moved up higher on the side of the car...anybody know for sure if GM scraped the white gauge look?

 

From What I remember the SS always has silver guages. The lt models have always had the option for white guages

 

I thought it was the LS coupe and sedan which had those as options. Not sure about the SS though.

 

The Cobalt LS Coupe/Sedan only have the option for white-faced gauges. It is part of the Sport Package.

 

From what I can tell in the ordering page, the white face gauges are only available in the "TV5 Appearance Package Sport" ordering code. It is not an option but rather a trim level (similar to LS/LT in the truck line) and is available instead of the 1SA/1SB trim level.
On the Invoice it appears as 1SB SPORT PACKAGE and retails for about $595

P.S. It is available in the LS Coupe AND LS Sedan. The standard gauge faces are black with white letters and an irridescent red needle.

I don't know what the SS is going to have, they're not out yet. Scheduled to arrive here in late February (and getting later every day)

The SS is supposed to have "Titanium-faced guages". They are the black, red and grey silver guages in the pictures I believe. The white faced guages in some pictures on gmcanada.com must be wrong.

 

the original SS had the white gauges, and when they delayed that to next yr, they put them on the 'sport package' in the LS, i guess to 'hold us over' until they made the real SS...

 

Thats exactly how I have my LS Coupe... Just like this... I'm just waiting for it to come in....
