I now have 70000 km on my Supercharged Cobalt. I have really done nothing to my car but changed the oil every 7000km. Does anybody have an advice about what I should be doing to upkeep my car. Break fluid and Rad fluid look ok. The sevice manually tells you little.

 

the owners manual says something like 5 years or 200k km for the coolant, even though its long life coolant id recemend changing it by the 3 year mark. when the stuff goes bad it can start eating at gaskets and becomes very corosive.

just me but id change the plugs every 50k km. many will wait till 100k, but for the price and ease, why???

brake fluid, well, when ya do brakes you can flush it yourself. its not really one of those hugly important things

rotate your tires every other oil change

basicly just pay attention to everything.
