wifes 2.2 ....tune up ? how many miles
My wife has a 2.2 and I was wundering when to get a tune up? It has about 45k miles and is about 3 years old in April. Also the thing freakin revs high for a base engine. I guess when she got it it was some kind of New York city show car with no gov or rev limits...Is it bad for the tranny to be shifting high like that? if you give the pedal a decent step it comes out of first at about 4 1/2 grand when her cousins 2.2 comes out of first at 2500..both autos

tune up as far as what???? Spark plugs are rated until about 100k........I'd change the fuel filter if you haven't already, a good thorttle body cleaning, check the transmission fluid and see how it looks.
