i am running catless and the only problems i have is the CEL for the cat is on. but with a good tune that'll be taken off. but i have decided to go to a high flow cat downpipe to quiet up my exhaust (going thru residental areas at 6 a.m. with a catless exhaust is very loud)

No problems other than horrible smell, check engine light and a huge yellow flame occasionally from wot shifts.

You have to have credits in order to turn it off b/c you have to do it in the editor. Also I have no problems running catless, the exhaust just got alittle bit louder, and an occasional 2 foot flame

Well before I got my tune my check engine light came on from the o2 sensor not being able to read anything. I was getting about 19 mpg before my tune, dont know if it was from the sensor or not, but after I got the tune he deleted the sensor and the check engine light turned off and I get about 22 mpg again. So yes you need to turn off your o2 sensor. Hope this helps.

no problems here...been running it for little over 6 months now...CEL turned off through HPT as well as tuned for it....as far as credits since you are changing things within the tune, you will need to unlock the car to do so.

You need to be licensed on an interface to make any changes to the config file on the vehicle pcm. This costs 2 credits, which sell for approx. $100 a piece.

If you mess with the front sensors before the cat will will mess with the car. The ones after the cat will have 0 affect on your car if you go catless. You will need credits to turn of the light though.

Do you live in the hood? I've never seen a porch spit flames.

can anybody point me to a vid or soundclip of an ss/sc running catless? as soon as i sell my paintball gear, i'll have a zzp header/dp combo (catless) ordered. How would a zzp header, catless dp, and gmpp sport catback sound compared to an srt4 with full exhaust? i love backfiring, popping, and cackling...will i have that?
