Tire Size Fit.

Okay i've been reading lot's of thread from members asking tire size for the stock SS SC rims

Well 235/40's are the best tire size..!

from 215/45R18 to :

235/40's 0.8% too fast / 60MPH = 59.5MPH
225/45's 1.4% too slow / 60MPH = 60.8MPH
225/40's 2.1% too fast / 60MPH = 58.8MPH
215/40's 3.3% too fast / 60MPH = 58.0MPH

the best fit sized tire for the cobalt are 235/40R18... nothing else..!

I just dont want people to start buying tire that they can't drive the real speed that they are going.

Hope this can go into the Sticky..!

Also.. Want tire size..? Post here or PM me.. i will fit the best tire to fit your rims.. without messing your speedo too much

Thanks
r0k0

True for the SS/SC but not LS/LT's I'm not sure about the SS/NA. i'm to lazy to look up all the specks right now but LS's andLT1's come with 195/60/15 LT2's come with 205/55/16's If your 'balt came with 15's you can have it reflashed for the 16's so you can use the taller tires without throwing your speedo off.

Great, but a 235 is too wide for the stock rim. Sure they will fit, but not ideal. Your gonna need a wider rim for a 235., at least an 8in.
