Spare Turbo Tranny buildup.

So as some of you know, I have my 2.4L SS Sedan Auto (Turbo).

I had it installed back in Julyish of 07.

Somewhat recently my car started actin up (im assuming of the cold weather). Overheating, running rich, etc.

While i fixed the majority of the problems, i decided to buy a spare 2.4 tranny out of a junkyard and take it to a local tranny shop.

Im hoping to be able to get it so the tranny will be able to support 400ish HP/TQ.

Cryogen freezing gears, 3500 Stall, and just normal beefing.

doesnt the SS/NA auto come outta the G6 lineup?? if so it's meant to handle v6 power and tq.. but that's still a good idea to have a back up that's gonna be bullet proof... and FYI the motor running rich and over heating has nothing to do with the transmission.

Ive heard the 4t45e's failing after 400hp.

I got a killer deal IMO.

$1200 for the cryogening of the gears, 3500rpm stall, etc.

not bad, if i could find a shop here in cali that will touch my tranny i could get the cry done for 150, and thats the entire tranny casing, gears etc. problem is no one will take the damn thing apart and put it back together right

Ya, the trannys are quite finicky (sp?)

Ive played with multiple of the trannys. Ive always noticed that they seemed nice and strong up until they give out.
