Fuel Economy

I bought a 2005 cobalt ss and i am getting horrible gas mileage and i was wondering if its me or if other people are having this problem. Right now i am lucky to get 400 km on a full tank and i'm not driving it hard at all and am shifting between 2500rpm and 3000rpm usually. So if you have the same car please tell me what your gas mileage is. Thank You

I can get an average of 350 miles out of one tank of gas. I do mostly freeway driving at the speed limit with about 3 to 4 sprinted moments He He. I have gotten about 397 miles out of one tank before but it was really hard to do.

All amounts are is US sorry I do not know the translation.

I drive all stop and go - av like 24 km/h.

So far terrible mileage- 15 l/ 100km seems average- car has almost 2000 km on it.

I bought that blue one months ago that was sitting on Ottawa street.

Yeah, I was averaging about the same when the weather was warm. Now that it's in the 20's and 30's I've been averaging around 23-ish. I'd never realized the temp had that much effect on mileage...

I've gotten 21 mpg. I usually fill up at 1/4 tank. I have gotten around 215 per tank consistently. I make trips that are about 10-12 miles one way. No big trips yet...

btw its roughly 10k=6.2 miles and 3.8l = 1 gal and to convert my results to metric is beyond me right now

21 mpg=11.2L/100km because I knew your Holidays would be ruined without knowing
you fuel consumption in metric.

There is only one 2005 SS. Your lucky if you get 400. I get about 300 now in the snow running on Ultra94.
