ss rims on the 2.2l

i have a quick question i hope someone can answer i have an 05 cobalt 2.2l its four door i got it bc i wanted a cobalt cuz of all the potential of em i couldnt get the ss due to my insurance after my accident so im building from scratch and i was wondering if i bought a set of the ss 18's if they would fit on my 05 four door

can ss 18's fit on my 05 4dr

they arent stock rims on my cobalt it has the five bolt pattern and thats why im wondering

nope.u have 4 lug and the ss rims are 5 lug

I think there's something with the fitting of the lug nuts. 2.2L I think has four lugs while SS' have five.

my 4dr has the 5 bolt pattern they arent the stock **** rims is premium package with the sound and everything im sure they are either 16's on there now or 17's

i think in 07 they changed some 2.2 to a 5 bolt pattern

you are saying your 05 2.2 has a 5 bolt pattern? that would be a first... I had the upgraded rim package (16" alloys) but they were still 4 lug.

Check it again and post pics to prove this anomoly.


If you do in fact have a 5 lug pattern... SS rims should bolt right up

nah...in 07 with a certain rim upgrade they had a 5 bolt pattern..all 05 and 06 2.2's have a 4 bolt pattern

i got the ss/sc 18 inch on my 2007 no problem so if you have a 5 lug they should work

07 LT's and up have 5 lugs its now only the base model LS that has the 4 lug pattern with steelies.

Some 07+ LT's have 4 lug.
