so my engine blew over the weekend and my car has been sitting at the dealership for a while. today they finally tell me for sure the engine is blown and without any questions they said they were replacing it under warranty. i only had 1200 miles left on warranty also so they said after they fix it their gonna give me an extra 4000 mile warranty through them for free for being a valueable customer. big m chevrolet in radcliff is awesome. i was so worried id have to pay for it.

well they said the #4 piston blew to pieces but when they were inspecting it they noticed when it was made the metal had bubbles in it. not sure how but im not complaining i get it all replaced for free.

 

What mods did you have??

 

stage 2, 2.85(taking off way before this happened) airbox mod, and gmpp exhaust. but the mechanic said it would have happened when it was stock just not as quick as it did modded.
