Collection of Problems with my SS/SC

Alright heres the list of problems so far with my 2007 2.0L

1. paint is peeling from the drivers side door handle. is this normal?

2. the horn has two sides for you to honk the horn and well the right right works fine, the left side of the horn button needs to be pressed a couple times before it works.

3. The ac when placed on setting 1 or 2 would make this clicking noise but still produces the good fresh AC air that i want.

4. the paint is chipping on the heated seats button. like on the top of the box...I dont even touch that and its found chipped and chipped VERY slowly as each day passes by?

5. my wiperblades makes this sound everytime i use them. they make this loud sound only when theres not enough water on the windshield.

Any ideas besides telling me to call the dealership for warranty?

is it a lemon?

If you need the Vin to the car or anything let me know. This is sorta becoming bullshit now =/

can i slap you??

1 the inside handle? normal

2 a horn contact sounds worn out, get it warrantied

3 the clicking noise is probably the compresser clutch engaging. normal

4 normal

5 mine do this to. its what happenes when you move rubber over dry glass.

your car isnt going to be lemoned for minor things like these.

well the AC clicking noise is something that is VERY annoying and just happened out of nowhere. and it isent a 5 minute thing. Its something that keeps on going as long as its in setting 1 or 2. it just doesnt stop clicking... =/

no just the AC. and i also notice that its coming from the little box in the passenger side. theres like a box where the fan spins inside or something. and its clicking in there. and when the AC is on for a while...when sitting in the passenger seat, on the left wall for your feet, its REALLY hot...is that normal?

u have practical problems. definately not a lemon .. a matter of fact, you dont have one thing on that list that could ever classify your car as a lemon

Hence why you are selling it! But thanks for the informative post.

Deathcult.......all of that can be put under warranty. So just take it to the dealer and get it fixed! Simple!!

Are you kidding? Those things are so minor that a lawyer would laugh at you. Have you tried to have anything fixed by GM yet?

1. yes get it replaced
2. take it in and get it replaced
3. Blower motore needs to be replaced
4. Again it will be replaced under warranty
5. Sounds like your own stupidity.

honestly to be honest you bought a GM what do you expect? Either you get a good one or you dont. and no it isn't a lemon,my brother and I have had many of these problems...

Also....it is a $25,000 car....not a $80,000 Lexus. And even at that the Lexus has been known to have problems.

I had to explain the same thing MANY times when I had my Matrix on a different forum. Guys would complain about the build quality and compare it to their parents Lexus or Mercedes. Idiots. Those cars are in a completely different class then the Matrix.

Same here. The Cobalt is not a luxury car and things will go wrong with it. That is what warranty is for.
