My car being used for someone's website!

well, CXRacing took my pics I gave them and used them on their auctions on ebay now. Check it out! and buy a HUGE FMHE and feel the gain! lol. I'm excited that my car is now not only on my photobucket account.

Quick Question, did the heat exchanger come with all piping and what-not for install or did you have to buy that too. The reason I ask is on the bottom of the page it has install kits and such. Just curious.

to the LSJ GOD that doesn't think cooling gains power. If the GD track would actually open I'd get those damn quarter mile times and traps posted.

That's awesome. California Auto Performance stole my fiance's truck and used it for their ad so it's good that you ok'd it. He emailed them and told them to change it to a better picture, but they wont.

Never said that, asshat. You're not going to "feel" a noticeable gain from just a H/E.....

thanks for callin me an asshat. I've already argued this with too many people on here. If you want to know my opinions on it, then just search heat exchanger. You'll find all kinds of threads with me getting bashed trying to prove that it actually does provide a gain. It gives you back your heat soaked top end.

Never said it didn't yield gains. All I said is your not going to physically FEEL the gains. I have the CA H/E and I've noticed a huge gain in temperature changes. Haven't been able to get to the track to run it, but I know for sure that it helps with temperatures which DOES equal more power in the end.

who cares bout feel..its all about the "show proof" that it does improve ur top end power..if i remember correctly rally trapped 100+on stock pulley and **** load of s2 guys dont even trap that...not every power mod u can feel..i got my s2 installed and i really didnt feal a 40hp increase...more like 10

3rd gear does feel stronger. But I'll admit, I wasn't being literal. I just was happy that my car made it on someone's site.

yea, truth be told. There was a s2 car at the track that day too, he had s2 with Intake and cat back exhaust. He couldn't trap better than a 99mph. I was trapping 101 consistently.

hey man, don't worry about it. It's an on going argument about cooling mods. Lots of guys on here think the only way to gain "real" power is to swap pulley sizes. I'm just trying to show that it's not the only way and that dropping to the smallest pulley possible isn't very smart. I'm trying to max out on stock pulley and then go from there. I may never even pulley down on this supercharger since the HTVS1320 is so close to being released.

a heat exchanger is just gonna give you the best true gains from your mods people, if your running hot your throwing hp out the window we all know that. i will be running a 2.6, without another heat exchanger your barely getting anything out of it.

i just had stage 2 with drop in K&N filter and i was trapping 101-104s constant depending on my run/launch/shift with 13.9s-14.1s every cobalt will put out different power even with the exact mods
