Projector Headlight/Halo questions (I searched)

I'm contemplating buying the halo/projector/angel eye headlights from ebay. My one big question that any of my searches has not answered, not to say I may have just missed it, is how do these lights work practically. I'm a little unsure as to where the driving lights come from when actually in use. At night are they as good, better, or worse than the stockers.

I have the sylvania silverstar bulbs in my headlights now and those were a vast improvement over the stock bulbs. I'm not necessarily looking for the halo/projectors/angel eyes to be better than stock but at least be as good. I like the looks of them and just don't want to degrade my lighting capabilities at night as I do quite a bit of night driving.

Thanks in advance for any input and your time.

Sean

I have the lights and the light output is better than stock.. I threw some silverstars in there and the light output is still way better.. hoenstly i would throw some more money in there and put HIDs in them... the lights are great just make sure that you install them right and aim them correctly...

Thanks, I don't know if I want to deal with the HID's and such, but we'll see. It won't be until it gets warmer out that I'll actually do this. Just figured I'd do a little research.

Thanks again for you input.

its not hard at all.

i got my projectors for christmas and installed them soon as it was warm enough to not freeze my nuts off..

installed in about 10 minutes...aiming takes a little time though to get a good cutoff..

and the HIDs are not a big problem..

a lot of us on here know how to do them..so you could search for how tos about it or PM the person who put it up

I have the first gen with HIDs and Silverstar Ultras in the highs. These are a vast improvment over the stock headlights! I've had mine for a year and a half so far.

On the subject of the lights, what is the difference between the ones offered on Ebay which are about 150 bucks/set and the ones online at "shops" that are about 300 bucks/set?

I don't know if anyone has gotten the more expensive set as the adverts look the same on Ebay as they do on the websites for the 300 dollar ones.
