Ride feels wishy washy after new rims/tires

I recently threw on a new tires/rims combo

rims are same size as stock, 18'', but 7.5 instead of 7.0 width.

tires are 225/40's, max psi 50, i have them at about 35 cold.

balance is good, albeit a bit of a pain to get it right, with a few of the rims being more right rears than left fronts because of the offset.

no rubbing issues, although i have the stilt look going on now.

there is a slight steering wheel wobble around 78 to 80 but i can accelerate thought it.

the problem is the car feels wishy washy at higher speeds. seems like i have alot more wheel play than what i had before.

any ideas?

torque is good on the rims, I re-torqued them myself after the first 20 miles after the install.

Wonder if I should get a balance done at a different shop?

one of my buddies suggested dropping the psi to 32 cold but i don't want to wear the tires too fast.

did they use sticky weights or the lip wieghts?i knw the sticky weights look better, but u cant really balance a tire/rim as good as u can with the lip weights

mine felt different when I went with wider and thinner tires. No vibes though. I have got used to the different feeling now and love them!

they used a combo of both sticky and lip weights when balancing.

a few of the rims provided quite a challenge for the balance. Which is why i'm thinking I may need to get them re-balanced at a different shop.
