What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?

My Girlfriends 2.4 SS had to be towed, the fuel lines were leaking right over the exhaust pipe and the car stunk like gas.
I wouldn't call it a just a drip, but not quite a stream...it was right before the muffler.

Ah I would but she already had it towed to her familys mechanic who is looking at it this morning.
Is it really an expensive repair though? didn't look like much beyond a fitting initially when I was looking under it.
Might replace mine preventatively lol ...or for all I know it was done already before I owned the car lol

The tank is a recall. But the lines under the exhaust shield get moisture trapped against them and rust out. In front of the rear drivers side tire. Thinking powells kit was an easy self install for the lines verses a dealer probably charging $400 to run all new lines.

Swapped the shifter spring, installed a ZZP Short throw shifter mod and the aluminum base bushings. Took all the 112k slop out the factory shifter. Shorter throws, less play in the shifter and a nice solid feeling when shifting through the gears.
I took off the front bumper to look for a boost leak and well once I start the trans swap. I found that the car is still leaking coolant from tthe turbo so I will be taking the turbo off to see what's going on
You have a nice big garage. Im jealous. I cant fully open either of my doors in my garage.
