I lost my cruise control due to pressing on the clutch too many times (some weird ass safety feature iirc), and after pulling the negative terminal off the battery it reset.

i pulled the positive terminal off and that did not work....doest it really matter positive or negative just as long as one is not connected?

Under the hood there is a fuse for "CHMSL" which is 10 amps. It is likely blown, and I replaced mine with 15amp

Try swapping anyway. I had a fuse that didn't look blown on my DRLs and it turns out it was blown after all.

Already did. No luck......when I test voltage across the connector at the 3rd brake light with the brakes on I am seeing around 6volts....bad ground maybe? Or is the switching done on the grounded side

Is this an LED swapped third brake light or a stock one? Are any bulbs burnt out?
