Exhaust/Sound Issues

I have found a lot of threads involving exhaust and achieving a desirable sound but nothing quite fits my situation. I have a 2007 SS S/C I bought it a few months back and it already had several upgrades including exhaust, pulleys, and air intake the specifics of which I'm not totally sure. What I have figured out in my research is; I have 3 inch exhaust with magnaflow muffler, and no resonator not sure on the specifics of the header but my dad says it's steel. Now, from my previous experience around supercharged cars is that the sound of the supercharger usually stands out over the sound of the exhaust. Mine does not this thing sounds like an angry bumble bee. Maybe I'm comparing apples to oranges being that this car is a 4 cylinder and the other supercharged cars I've been around are v8's. So I guess the actual question is how do I reduce the sound of the exhaust and increase the sound of the super charger.

If you have an aftermarket intake the thing should whine like crazy. It could be that your exhaust is way too loud. I can't really hear my blower over my exhaust anymore

You could get a resonator welded in. You can buy one from zzp

No cat in the down pipe, it's all tube clear back to the muffler. I found the zzp whisper for $130 I'll probably go with this it has a lot of good reviews.

I like your thinking GeoffB.

I too once loved loud exhausts. Now it's the complete opposite, Let the SC/TC do the talking.

Yeah, it's gotten to the point where it annoys me, so I know it drives my neighbors crazy. It's my daily driver (for now) and the supercharger sounds way more aggressive than any loud exhaust in my opinion. Thanks for the input guys, been a big help. I'll try to post some fly-by and idle clips when it's all done.
