if you searched for this you would litterally have half the site returned to you.

All I can say is welcome to the club. That club being the wonderful world of crappy idle issues of the Cobalt SS/sc/tc

mine nearly dies every time I shift out of gear while moving and then levels out once I come to a complete stop. Never surges high always low.

again this is so widely discussed and so many theories.... thats all

Many theories indeed...

I cleaned my throttle body. Fixed it instantly for me.

*I did not use throttle-body cleaner. Just a good ole rag.

dirty throttle body tends to be the issue. just be gentle cleaning the first time I cleaned mine I took it off and when I reinstalled I had huge problems with car going into limp mode at wot. replaced throttle body and no idle issue......

Might want to do a wire wiggle test on the throttle body connection just to eliminate that possibility (Unless you already have). To check for a possible snapped wire.

Next step might be taking it to the dealer and getting any updates put on your PCM (if you are not tuned). One of the other theories out there.

Yes ima go ahead and try a couple other things see wut happens..but yes I'm to the point where I just want to take it to the dealer to see what they gotta say....but other than that I'm thinking of just changing my throttle body just to see if it fixes the problem. ..thanks for the info

Yah car is completely stock
