Brake lights not working
Pulled my car out for the first time in a couple of weeks. I was told that my outer brake lights do not work. The center light on the truck lid works but the two others do not .
(not a bulb issue, four way flashers work fine)
Anyone else have this problem ?

If the key is not in the "RUN" position the outer lights will not work. I have absolutely no clue why but it is true. I had a guy a few months ago tell me that mine weren't working after we got into work. When I went out to lunch I started her up and they worked fine. After a little playing around we realized that if the key wasn't on they DO NOT work.
If your key is on check your fuses then take it to a dealer (use your hazzard lights to avoid being pulled over by the police).
GOOD LUCK!!

the bulbs are dual filament, so technically your 4 way flashers could work while your brakes lights are out... I'd still test a new bulb just to be sure. Otherwise check the fuse then call the dealer.

Not exactly
The 4-way/Hazard Flasher flashes the large (brake light) filament in the bulb. If the brake light filament is burned out that bulb will not flash. The brake signal, turn signal, and hazard flasher signal all operate only the large filament. The small filament is only for the tail light mode.
