OK so I have a question. I have a 2006 SS/SC and my ABS light is on. The hard codes in the computer are for Right Front Speed Sensor and Right Front Speed Sensor Erratic. I have the 5 year/60,000 mile warranty on the power train (I have 42K and change on the ODO) and wheel bearings are covered under the power train warranty. Here's where my questions come in.
1. Are the speed sensors part of the wheel bearing/hub assembly on the SS/SC's (I'm 99% sure they are)?
2. Those of you who are GM techs what do you think my chances are of getting the repair warrantied if the speed sensor is part of the wheel bearing assembly itself?
3. What else could cause these codes? BCM? Wiring?
4. Does anyone have the GM part number for the wheel bearings or speed sensors (if they are separate) so I can look for prices online?
Thanks guys! Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Well the sensor itself is part of the hub. Though you might want to check the harness that loops up around the steering knuckle, i have seen plenty of cobalts that have cut wiring with both of those codes, the harness isn't that expensive either.

yea when the ABS light comes on it shuts the ABS off completely.
I"m 99% sure it's the hub assembly/speed sensor. I remember hittin a pot hole pretty good a week or so ago and i know that can wipe the speed sensors out. I'm just hopin I can get this covered under warranty...
