Some pics after a detailing

Yesterday I washed, clay bar'ed, and applied a coat of Menzerna Jescar Power Lock sealant. I used to use Klasse on my vehicles, but the Menzerna is way easier to apply. 303 Aerospace Protectant on the tires and the various black plastic bits. It would be nice if it could just repel dirt from now on.

Nice job, I'm assuming you've polished it or had someone polish it from the pictures

I really don't have any before pics because it never gets that dirty. It's always one wash away from looking pretty close to this. Not bad for 72k miles. The most aggressive I had gotten in the past was using a cleaner wax with a Porter Cable orbital polisher on a hard pad. The previous 5 or so details have just been clay bar and sealant by hand. This last application of sealant was with the orbital polisher on a soft pad.

This car rarely sits outside for more than 2-3 hours/week and I put an average 200 miles/week on, mostly interstate. The car shines even after it has been driven in the rain and dried. So I don't wash it too often. I do wash the wheels every other week. I hate brake dust.

I'm in the Charlotte area and it rarely snows here. The sun is the enemy here. Parked outside, my truck needs the protection more and I drive that maybe 20-30 miles/week most of the time.

I love the lines on these cars. The only thing I want different about mine is a duck tail rear spoiler. Nobody makes that for these cars, though.

The Tjin is close to what I want. I'd rather the spoiler not extend past the trunk lid width. Looking at it again, the wider spoiler doesn't take anything away from the looks. I may consider this.

Nice and clean for not giving it a serious polish. Can you send me a link about the sealant you used?

Car looks really good!
Powerlock is amazing stuff, so easy to apply and I usually get about 6-8 months of protection on my dd (parked outside). The Cobalt gets the really good stuff (gtechniq Exo) but its in the garage.

Check out menzerna for their polishes as well, I use them for my detailing side business.

For the sealant I used, yes, it's recommended to be applied with an orbital and then removed by hand.
