Top shelf shine
Spent a full day with clay bar and compounds trying to cut the swirl marks on the car. I removed some but still looks horrible. Previous owner really used some rough towels or something. So did a little research and bought some new stuff......
The forum favorite kit is an excellent value on Auto Geek. I also added the Pinnacle Advanced Compound and Dodo Juice Tyromania. Hopefully that will really fix all the swirls and bring incredible depth to the paint. And the Tyromania, it is a wax for your tires, not a dressing. It has orange oil in it also. Looking forward to that.

Since I had to make a trip to help out a friend yesterday, I haven't got very far. I have washed it and tested the hood for results. So here are some photos from what I have done.

Since the lighting doesn't help show the difference in pictures, I took a video. Still not as good as having sunlight, but you can tell as it looks like camera loses focus due to swirls.

Now one thing I will be doing differently is using the Pinnacle Advanced Compound before the Klasse All-In-One. I wasn't thinking when I started. Also, this was done by hand!!!! I do have a buffer, but I wanted to see the results and show what can be done without one. Yes, there still are some super super minor swirls and deeper scratches (nearly through clear coat), but I am quite shocked at the results doing this by hand. So I will be proceeding to do entire car. The Dodo Juice, well you can't tell much due to the fact my tires are brand new, so I will test out on another vehicle that has browner tinge to the tires.

I will continue to update this. I didn't fully read the instructions on the sealant glaze, so it wasn't being used at full potential. But I have the front end done, fenders forward. Once I get it all done, I will add new pictures which might be a week due to work.
Links to the products......
Klasse All-In-One, Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze, Pinnacle Souveran, Pinnacle Crystal Mist Spray Wax come together to create a forum favorite kit.
Pinnacle Advanced Compound, swirl remover
Dodo Juice Tyromania Non-Sling Tire Dressing, tire protectant, tyro-mania tire dressing, rubber protectant
The Dodo Juice is TINY! But just like everything else, very little is needed. I think the stuff is meant for one vehicle and possibly a little more. To find the larger tub, you have to order it from UK or Australia.

Very nice work OP, crystal red metallic looks amazing after some polish and sealing! Get out the DA buffer and finish off those fine swirls next go around!
85 is an aggressive cutting compound and 105 is a little less aggressive depending on pad selection, if you do use either you're going to want to follow it with 205 on a finishing pad to take care of the marking left with 85/105.

I have a dual action. I'm looking into buying something new. Before I run a buffer on it, I want to do some paint touch ups. Lots of chips. My fiancée's dad has a business doing paint repair for dealers, so might get him to do it.

If you're looking into a new polisher but don't want to make the jump to a rotary yet the flex 3401 is a great DA with enough power to correct the worst swirling you will see.

Finally finished it today. And for a hand buff and wax, these products are amazing! The wax is the best I have ever used. Insanely easy to apply and remove. So here are some pictures and yet doesn't do justice. I wanted to head out to the covered bridge for pictures but kept threatening to rain. Also, I haven't touched the wheels or tires.
