I can tell you 100% that you will lose. Raced a Stg II balt with K&N and GMPP catback... I even gave him his "40 roll".... by 100 he was back a full car. I was NLS. From a dig he was embarassed.

i raced a t/c my mods are 2.9' pulley gm stage 2 injectors injen cai custom tuned and i can beat a t.c

100% huh?? That is alot of confidence seeing as all cars don't run the same even with the same mods. Bring drivers into it and that a whole other story .

Drivers race...... plain and simple.

Just sharing my experience. I have a lot of experience driving these cars, but the sc sucks at launching, having owned one for over 3 years I know. The TC is a much easier car to launch. So from a dig, it was like a walk down memory lane listening to those tires bouncing off the road and a fked up 1-2 shift as a result. mounts, tq brace etc are mandatory if your gonna launch an sc.

And no my car is far from untouchable, it was just faster than a stg II with intake and gmpp thats all. I was bone stock. Now I have a really solid tune it would only be worse.

i totally agree about how shitty launching an SS/SC is .... trust me I know I also know that SS/TC's are very powerful stock and even crazier with a tune, but 95 % of the time a Stage 2 SS/SC and a stock SS/TC will be a dirvers race with equal drivers.

yeah diffrent cars and diffrent drivers make a diffrence i got ingalls etd and i get no wheel hop i got boost reduced by 50% in first gear mine is alright to launch but mods that i have on engine are in earlier post

Not without a TVS hehe. Seriously thou , ever TC guy is going to say they walk stg2 SC's ....and every SC guy is gunna say they do the same . The TC is an animal with a tune , no doubt , but the SC isn't washed up by any means.

I almost bought a TC a few weeks ago but didn't , to be honest there wasn't enough of a power difference between my SC.... and a stock TC .....for me to justify losing 3K on my car (my car felt like it pulled harder from 2nd till the top of 3rd where i had to let off). If the stage kit's had been out for the TC i would have pulled the trigger. I'm going to buy one before the production run is over, so believe me ... i'm not a hater.

so i raced my friend today with my mods and he was a stock 09 tc, and i beat him by about 2 and 1/2 cars from a 40 roll twice... something not right about that?? i thought itd be closer then that or hed beat me
