OK so no official interest so far, but I have had many inquiries via email and PM. Here is what is going down. I will be accepting deposits via PayPal ( sales@northernstardesigns.com ) until May 31st. On June 1st I will place an order if I have reached the minimum order, or I will refund all deposits FULLY. Here are some more details:

GoPro Motorsports HERO Wide Kit (Camera + Mounts)
Canadians: $180CAD deposit. PM me for final cost (not allowed to advertise it)
Americans: $155USD deposit. PM me for final cost (not allowed to advertise it)

GoPro HERO Wide Camera ONLY
Canadians: $145CAD deposit. PM me for final cost (not allowed to advertise it)
Americans: $125USD deposit. PM me for final cost (not allowed to advertise it)

May 31 - deposit deadline
June 1 - Order placed or deposits FULLY REFUNDED

Minimum Orders:
I need to order 12 items to get good pricing for us. I have anough interest, so if it turns into enough deposits we will go ahead - if not, the money is returned June 1st.

Afternoon all. I've recently done a preliminary order of GoPro Motorsports HERO Wide camera kits. I'm hoping to get the initial/test units in this week and ofer the next while I hope to be able to review them.

I definitely plan to offer them for sale.

There is a stumbling block, in that all GoPro dealers sign a "minimum advertised price" contract with GoPro. As such, some companies have done some ninja coupon codes etc. to sell the cameras below this MAP, and only slightly above cost. Hopefully I can find a way to offer these cameras at a great price while still making it worthwhile.

Another hurdle is that I must order 12 at a time. So in future orders, I will have to order 12 $200 camera kits at once ($2400). Most likely when I do offer these, it will be done as a group buy to keep costs down for everyone, and to allow me to order them without selling my car first.

you should also look into getting just the camera as well, as for those of us that already have the GoPro motorsports package with all the accessories and such, there is no sense in us getting all that stuff all over again if we want to get a second or third camera to get differen't angles ya know.
