speaking of shift knobs I just ordered one of your SS/TC shifters with reverse lockout. How about doing us a favor and make a black plastic ball that accepts the reverse lockout for us who live in the cold climate for winter use. I already know I'm going to love the shifter but I'm not going to like grabbing it when I start the car when its 5 degrees outside and no one makes a plastic ball that works with reverse lockout to fit your shifters. I'll buy one tomorrow.

Better yet offer a leather wrapped abrams heavy ball.

One of our projects for the winter is actually to develop hybrid shift knobs made of stainless steel for the weight and delrin/plastic for the temperature reaction advantage.

Dear TWM
I recieved my shifter today and it was before the delivery date expected. I installed it and I can say this is one of the finest pieces of aftermarket engineering I have ever seen. I looked at B&M and Hurst and setteled on TWM. I was not disappointed. This is a stellar piece of work and being in the automotive business 30 years I don't hand that out lightly. Fantastic quality and performance worth every nickle and then some. Signed GM Engineer.

By the way on the shift knobs have you considered encapsulation in resin?? Easy to do. Check these out.

Thanks for the great feedback, we really worked hard to develop our Cobalt SS short shifter to be the best available on the market, it's much appreciated to get comments like this one!

As for shift knobs, we are really looking more for a delrin/plastic type of material.

Thanks,

Frank
