Yes. My winter tires are that size and I've run into no issues. Unless the wheel well of the LS is somehow smaller than mine, you should be fine.

wow really! without wheel spacers now that's awesome to know I think my next set of tires will be 245's then. Did you notice any improvement over 225? that's what I am running right now but they are more a summer compound, so this time of year I don't drive fast.

ive run 235/30/20 and 225/35/20 before with just a SLIGHT triming of the black plastic in the fender well.
no rubbing.

so if you go to a tire calculator, based on the circumfrance and width of those wheels you should be able to run a 235.45.18 on our cars. the ss ones that is. the cars that come with 18" factory. idk bout the others

and the only time i had rubbing was with a person or two in bad seat and a big bump. otherwise, its not too bad

well the only bad thing was when i took sharp turns it would rub inside the fender wall. but other than that i had more tire on the ground so i didnt lost traction so much. i got some performance tires n they are great. and our cars look so sick with those wide of tires.

Seen this thread, slightly old but i didnt want to make a new one cuz my question is along the lines of this thread.

Im have MSR 18x8's and im running 235/40/18's nitto nt-05 with eibach sportlines and in the front its kosher but the rear when i hit big bumps goin like 50-60, the metal part of the rear fenders scrape the tire between where the tread starts and the sidewall. So im kinda worryin bout blowin one of the rears up cuz of this.

I bin considerin my options and was thinkin of running 225/40/18 nitto invos or 235/35/18 invos (they dont make nt05s in these sizes) or something like that that is smaller either width or heights wise only in the rear and keepin the nt05s in storage from the rear for when the fronts need a changin.

My question is, what would be the best thing to do? go smaller width or height? Any better suggestions? Thanks!
