tire room coupe vs sedan

I've searched and read a lot but I thought I'd better ask. I haven't seen this addressed specifically.

I've found a sedan (which is wife approved) that has lsd for a decent price.

Are the front and rear wheel openings the same size for both the sedan and coupe. I get pretty serious about autocross so I need to know that I can fit the same size as the coupe.

I do know the 4 door is 40-50 heavier.

Thanks....

There's a guy on this board that manage to fit 285s to the coupe... but I dont think
anyone tried anything with the sedan just yet...

Call dealer... see if the tire plastic lining is the same part?

285's? i'd like to see that. i have 265's and they are simply too wide for the wheel well. they rub on both the inside and outside.

What's your tire size and offset? our tire dimensions seem to depend more on the diameter than the width

^^^ oops reading> me

Thanks for the replies. I have been watching this thread. Now I've got to figure out how to get a good enough deal on the car to make this happen.
