Question okay...so the ppl who have the ss/na polished rims.......

so as you guys know that the face of the rims (or the star) is polished...then like in between and the rest of the rim its like a silver-ish color.........if i was to spray that paint remover stuff that makes paint bubble on the silver part would it come out polished like the face of the rim? i dont get why gm made only the face polished and the rest silver on the ss/na....but on the ss/sc polished rims thw whole rim is polished..ugh

Pretty sure that is just paint like the paint on the rest of the car. So I would imagine that you would need to sand it down and polish it.

no like you knoe that paint remover stuff, its a spray...you spray it on paint and the paint bubbles and and wipe it right off...it goes down to the bare metal so i would tihnk if i sprayed that stuff then the polish would appear

Wouldn't that still mess up the polished part underneath the paint, that stuff is like an acidic spray isn't it? You would probably have to re-polish them anyways.. I'd sand and polish just to be safe.
