Rebel 3.5" Larger Throttle Body Special
Hi everyone.
We are having a special offer for our 3.5" Throttle Body conversion kit.
<<BEFORE>>~<< AFTER>>
That's over 44% larger!!
Limited time offer $235 ($10 more for meth tap 1/8NPT)
To order:
Please send us a PM, we are currently working on our site but for now we can take the orders manually
Details:
What do you get?
1. Billet aluminum Throttle body spacer with built in gasket ($10 extra for meth tap)
2. Brand new 3.5" GM throttle body
3. Stainless fastening hardware
How does it perform?
Vehicle Specs (before 3.5" TB):
2007 SS/SC
GM Stage 2 with 3" pulley
GM Honed manifold
GM Cat back exhaust
Rebel 3" Stainless Intake
Below you will see the before and after, the blue lines are before and red after.
Summary:
Down low (3350rpm) we produced 11WTQ and 7WHP
Mid range (4000rpm) we produced 8WTQ and 6WHP
Top end (6000rpm) we produced 12WTQ and 14WHP
Notes:
1. The only thing changed in the tune was the idle air flow ETC scaler area, no fueling or spark settings were changed.
2. The install as you can see took less than 24 minutes as you can see the dyno runs are 24 minutes apart.
3. With the above mods (before the new TB) we only produced 219WHP showing how our dyno reads lower numbers. But the beauty of it is the difference is accurate. Now compare this to the Twin Screw numbers 281WHP produced on the same dyno in the middle of summer (hotter temps).
4. The air/fuel went low 10's after 6000rpm which we expect from the GM Tune. There is plenty more power to be made here with some tuning.
People who have installed this upgrade:
"ok so i got this tb upgrade done today. i can now attest to this being an AWESOME F'ING UPGRADE! we dynoed somewhere from 10-15whp gain in the lower rpm range (below 3G) and somewhere from 10-20 lb ft gains. this isn't one of those mods where you find yourself debating whether you actually feel any difference either. you notice the difference right away. it pulls much harder and much sooner on the low end and this is exactly what the cobalt needed because it was lacking on the low end. now it feels awesome! i'm so glad i did this and i give much props to rebel for another fine upgrade! cheers guys!"
"ill tell you right now throttle response in like no other cobalt ive driven b4 with the stock charger. its almost impossible to drive this thing slow since no matter what rpm you are in a slight touch of the gas the the car darts forward, first gear is that much more usless now lol. stomp in any gear and it pulls alot harder than what it was liek b4 all the way to redline. its a amazing mod to compliment all the other modifications i have to my car."
Data Log Results:
Without New TB:
Boost 15.47 PSI
MAF 31.57 LB/MIN
With New TB:
Boost 15.62 PSI
MAF 31.57 LB/MIN

Good to see you finally put together a kit with the TB included... hopefully people will buy it. I figure the more that people buy stuff from you guys, and the steadier your income is, the more reliable you will become as well.
That being said, if I had the money atm, I would get this. Good luck.

It's funny how so many people think this is useless. The gains are proven and in your face right here. Better response and a stronger power band. I'm doing this FO' SHO'. just not sure if i want to wait till after the Harrop swap nextyear.

well it's also how you drive, a performance clutch has the same type of effect on driveability
Every upgrade takes some time to get used to.
Plus we are waiting for HPT to release more options so you can adjust pedal engagement vs TB position.
We have plenty of this product in stock
no, it's only for the 2.0 as of right now.
of course, we have one on the way to a guy with a turbo kit right now. We'll see what the results look like with 350HP.
