Goin to the track w/ the INTENSE cobalt

First track day is next saturday Feb 25th at edgewater, what kind of testing do you all want to see?

I'm thinking, stock tires (a waste of time i know)

Set of DR's on 16's

2.8, 2.7, 2.6, and maybe a 2.5

Any other ideas / predictions???

Hoosier QTP's 26x9x16, BadA$$ DR's, a little soft to drive on the street but great for the track

Malibu 16" rims have the 5x110

Those are to hard for a lightweight FWD car. I've tried them. Being FWD and light requires a VERY soft compound for traction.

Are you gonna run with the stock motor and trans mounts Rob ? I refuse to take mine to the track without both again , fighting wheelhop just made it not fun in the FWD Cobalt . It was much harder to control at the strip IMO on a sticky starting line than on the street . I think a stickier tire would have just wacked it out more.

Hope to see some good #'s outa that thing

btw - Would love to see the QTP used , awesome tire indeed
