Volksagen Mechanic

ok, so my girlfriend works in a coffee shop, and one of her customers works for VW... she mentioned to him that i was planning on changing my oil and he said that synthetic in these kinds of car are a waste, because by the time you change it it's just as fucked up anyways... i say that's stupid, synthetic is the way to go... is maybe the VW different in that respect? i wouldn't think so... i'm saying this guy didn't know what he was talking about... any else?

Sounds like a general VW Fan Boy, those chevys don't need to be changed over cause they are all f'd up anyway's. VW Fan Boys believe their cars are far superior to all others and hate domestics. That guy doesn't know **** from apple butter, if he is really a mechanic he isn't a very good one.

vw

i used to work at a vw audi porsche mb dealership dealership. the cars are very well designed but the thing is when one thing goes wrong it causes a domino effect down the car. i would see the same 10-15 cars every month for 2 weeks at time. another thing about vw's is the servie fees. they charge over 120 dollars per hour to even put their hands on it. the jobs are all charged basically triple what it actually takes to do as well. whe they run great i liked them when they start to have even the slightest problem your in trouble.

Synthetiic rocks. We use it in our Cavalier, Porsche 928 and Camry with great success. Perhaps VW's start breaking down at 40Kmi instead of 20K if you use synthetic.

veedubs are turds, check www.myvwlemon.com if you don't believe me. A reliability rating worse than Ford and Kia has to be earned, and VW has done so.
