hey guys, the link above is from a performance parts co here in toronto!
theyre advertising stage 2 kits for 1025.

anybody know these guys? is this kit from GM? warrany issues?

 

Looks like it is the same kit as GM is putting out. Don't know if it is licensed by GM though.

 

so, that would definately be an issue with warranty huh?

 

I guess you could ask them if it is the GM kit or just a "copy" of the GM kit.

Whatever you said i agree!!! cause i am sure it has to do with the continuous stage kit threads that say the same thing....

 

How bad is my gas mileage going to be with this kit? I drive 600-700km a week now and dont want to sucking up too much gas.

ull get pretty much the same mileage if u drive it like before, unfortunately u will be going wot to hear the blower and to feel more power, so it will probably go down.

 

I doubt very much it would lower your mileage by half. But its hard to say considering nobody has one yet. my guess would be moderate reduction in city driving and mild reduction in highway driving...but thats just a guess

 

OK, I will do it then..... it will be a great addition for spring. Yeah you are right, I will want to go like hell all the time.... therefore worse gas mileage, speeding tickets and higher insurance...... Oh well its worth it.

 

Good god...if you are worried about gas mileage, why do you own an SS
Mines just brutal but then again I have a Daily, so thats not really an issue.

 

i phone the dealer today
and they said canada might not get stage 2 kit
he told me to phone GM a week after next month and check

now if this was true... if we get the stage kits from US... who can do the reflash for us?
