M88ArRamadi 407 whp, 387 wtq I, TB, WI, TVS, 2.75, HE, DU, 60's, RS, FI, H, CD, E, RG (other mods: 10.5:1 diamond pistons, ported head)
just for information's sake, here's M88ArRamadi's tvs numbers. He put out more tq than paul (blackg85ss) and he did a 421whp pull, which is when the motor blew due to massive knock.

prob a bit of both. sounds like my last build. i sheared my rod bolts due to them being over torqued, plus i never had a tune worth a ****. bye bye to the bottom end. that was an expensive booboo. bent my stock rods when the crank hit em and shrapneled my diamond 9.5:1 cr pistons and blew a hole in my lower girttle and made 2 holes in the oil pan. exploded my starter as well. good times

zrated, you're in the area and I'll be back in a month or so. Once I learn to drive the car again (...), we'll head out to the track. I know vmp is already open, but the weather isn't the best right now.
On m88, was he running out of fuel up top? I know the 60's are good and all, but with a base tune on my car, the 60's didn't have that much room to work with. His fueling might have been a cause with that, especially if he had a ported head and all

2. 06blackg85ss 414 whp, 378 wtq Verified Mustang dyno TK, DP, E, T, I, 60s
Looks like he put out more tq to me. 387 compared to 378. We all know that Paul has put down higher
numbers than this, but the point is, these are the numbers that Paul has officially posted. Big
turbos are known to make tq suffer slightly due to spool time.
Chill out.
As for M88ArRamadi, he wasn't running out of fuel. He had 60's with a return set up. He had tons of
knock issue due to mainly they extremely high compression and the amount of boost that the tvs was
pushing. He was on the stock cams. Had he been on aftermarket cams, I'm sure the knock issue
wouldn't have been as bad due to aftermarket cams lowering your compression ratio, but then his tq
would have suffered.
Point is, these numbers are really high. So it looks like there is hope. Just got to be a bit more
careful when putting stuff together. Personally, I don't think this was a well thought out build.
While his numbers are really high and make the TVS look great, running 10.5:1 pistons on stock cams
with a relatively small pulley on the TVS and daily driving is a bit insane. Had he been on stock
compression, his numbers might have suffered a bit, but the car might still be alive right now.
Point is, the numbers are high and are great, but for a DD car, a bit more conservative setup would
have lasted a lot longer.

(exhales slowly) I think that's the only thing I overlooked when looking in his vbgarage. I know his build isn't much different than mine and I was wondering why he had so much knock. You even said he had a ported head (exhaust) so I'm still scratching my head. Once I get back, I'll have to go to a shop and find out what would be a good gring to mate to my tvs.
