roughly 240whp each, but he hits the powerband sooner, and his gearing will probably help slightly

This is true, our "younger" brothers can run real low low 13s with just a tune. Like 13.2's .

I would guess t would be fairly close, I would guess the SS/TC would probably pull you by a car or so given equal drivers. SS/SC stage 2 with catback is probably about ~230whp. SS/TC stock is probably about ~245whp.

07 stage 2's usually put down 245-250 with a catback. 05-06 a little lower

Nice glad to see you still have air conditioning lol. Man I couldn't even imagine spraying anything more then about a 50shot. I have sprayed the 35shot several times and its fun, but I can't wait to try the 50shot once the new clutch is in .

At the dragstrip, there was a red Cobalt SS/TC that could not go below 14 seconds. I raced against him two time and while we were in the same gear, I could always outdistance him over and over SLIGHTLY. My mod were and are again Stage 2 + R.A.W cold air intake. Im doing 14 flat @ 103 mph with 2.25s 60" and my best was 13.93s with a 2.15s 60". This was during a 76F degrees sunny day and my IAT2 temps went always up to 145-150F during the many pass I did. **** when I think about it, I find that my balt is heatsoaking quite much for being stage 2!!!!

Seems like many people say that the SS/TC are either equal to the SS Stage2 or either better. Strangely, this is what not I saw for that particular red SS/TC I saw during that day at the dragstrip!

I am having some tranny issues but the cars going to the shop tomorrow to get the tranny dropped and have new seals put in and the new gm upgrade clutch and a new flywheel. However the tranny case might be cracked so I might be looking at a new tranny, dunno yet. I won't know until it gets dropped tomorrow.

i would say, with what you have, you get the right amount of brake boost goin on and you could get the jump and keep pullin on a stock ss/tc. why do i say this? i've seen it done before... bout 4 times... and hell no not in my car.

07 ss/sc's usually put down a tad more whp then earlier year ss/sc's. if you can drive, you may even beat him, but it will be a close/good race !! i have yet to race a ss/tc .... i saw maybe 2 in my area so far, and each time they were going in the opposite direction.
