Here are some pictures of our first meet at Boston Pizza 170th St. in Edmonton, we ate some food, took some pics and went for a Cruise to Whyte avenue later on.

Overall good first meet guys, it was good to see the people that showed up dispite it being one of the colder days this month, t'was fun.

Had a good time at the meet! Not a bad turnout considering it wasn't much above zero out. Four SS/SC, and two IORs.

I only took a few pics, and most of them didn't turn out. I had a video too, but it was a little too dark out for my camera, and the quality is really poor. Here is what I have that is worth posting:

Wow looks like a great turnout (considering cobalt SS S/C arent that common in canada. Too bad I couldnt have been there. Maybe sometime this summer we can get a huge meet going in red deer, that way edmontonians and calgarians have an equal length to drive :P Great pics!

Ya, last night was some good times. We'll have to do it again. Hopefully some more of the pansies who didn't show up because it was cold will be at the next meet

 

I was at my aunts for dinner till about 10pm so i couldnt make it. I already met Dustin, he taught me some tricks and tips for driving manual. I'll certainly come to next meet if theres another goin on. Plus by then i'll be a better driver

 

Next time We'll have to meet earlier in the day to get some better pictures, for sure.

we also talked about The round trip cruise from Edmonton-Calgary-Lake Louise-Jasper-back to Edmonton. What we would have to do for a round trip cruise is decide if we want to do it in a 2 day span or make a long weekend out of it... Cracked also mentioned that if we all had two way radios to communicate while crusing it would make everything all the easier, to avoid cops and also to change speeds, plans, and to let everyone know if one member goes down for some reason.

As the meets are pretty much set for track days, Whenever Bud park opens up to the public we can post up before every friday night to see who's coming.

Yeah I'm sure it's fine, you'll know a cooked clutch from when you're stepping on the gas but not going anywhere.

 

Ya I would have made it myself but of course my body decided to get a cold/flu of all things on the long weekend.... Theres only one s/c in my town that drives around a bit but no hard core people here!! (Red Hole I mean).. I get alot of people asking about the SS and man would it ever throw people for a loop to see a bunch of us (more then 2) cruizin around RD..lol

Sorry my ex-wifed f'ed up my plans. I had planned to drop my daughter back off to her in Red Deer on Sunday afternoon, and I got relocated to her family in freakin Swift Current /boggle. To think I had it all planned out. Anyways I wasnt driving the 7 or 8 hours back to Edmonton area then 6 more back to Medicine Hat.

i wish i woulda seen this site, last weekend, i want to buy one, wouldnt have minded talking to a few of you guys. im pretty sure i dont want onstar, and xm, maybe not recaro, but unsure......anyone in edmonton found a good tuner yet?
the gm accessory store sells a corsa exhaust cat-back, and stage 1-2, plus a different exhaust manifold, all gm licenced. looking to up mileage and power right off the bat!
