okay i have problems shifting into second gear at Redline It doesnt go into gear and i get grindage it sucks and its pissing me off. can anyone tell me what the problem might be?

 

You might be having a problem with your "synchro" from 1st to 2nd. Take it up to the dealer to be sure, but I believe that, that is your problem... You are using the clutch, right?

 

no i thought i didnt have to use the clutch.....damn it!

Yes i use the clutch it only happens in second gear.

 

Then I do believe it is a problem with your synchros. Search the forum & see what you can find by searching synchros. I think many other people have had the same problem you have.

Yea I know. They always do that ****... But just take it in, & tell them you think there's a problem with your transmission synchros, or your shifter synchros. And tell them the problem.

 

Another possible thing could be the shifter needs to be slightly adjusted.

 

they will be why you taking it to redline to shift or say you are abusing your car so we wont cover it and i will be like its a performance car so screw you and fix it.

I will take it in.

okay i followed the directions on the other thread. i havent had the chance to drive it yet but i will keep you guys posted.

 

I drove the car today and took it up to redline a couple of times and the car shifted perfectly. Thanks Guy!
