Hey guys, I saw a bunch of nice cars out this weekend, and the Cobalts are becoming more and more common, but I very rarely catch a SS/SC Cobalt.

This weekend (Saturday specifically) I saw 2. I saw a red one headed West on Route 120 near 12 in Volo, probably about 5:45 or so.

And later on I saw a Black one somewhere between Gurnee and Fox lake, can't remember exactly where though.

Was wondering if either was someone on here?

There is also a Cute girl driving a Black cobalt with a low spoiler (LS/LT) in Sycamore....that anyone here too?

 

i live in crystal lake with a modded black base, and there is a red SS about a block down the road from me, idk where the red one lives b/c hes at the house by me once in a while, coulda been him

 

I travel through volo and that area daily but I have lazer blue.

Oh just about everything possible. Pulley, ported blower, Hp tuners, exhaust ya know the usual stuff. Working on a different setup for the aftercooler now. Island lake and fox lake about the only thing really happening there is the cruise night at the local dog and suds but thats all just muscle cars. Ask Bio there might be a little more action out in crystal lake. I make it out there as well but not to often.

i looked for a blue one and the dealer said that they didnt make a ss/sc in blue where did you get yours

 

Ray chevy has one sitting on there lot. thats where I got mine from but they had to do a delaer trade to get it from indiana.

 

I just usuually go to GLD. Well I hit my goal and that was to get it into the 12s and I did and well I need some warrenty work done and Rays doesnt like to work on modified vehicles so its returning back to stock for a while. Sucks to cause hate taking everything off.

 

I go through Northern IL a bit. Mostly Gurnee if anything. But yeah I also go to GLD, so I say we should get as many Cobalts as we can to meet up at the next Import Wars.

My G/f has family in Gurnee.....
I got my Laser Blue SS/SC from Classic Chevrolet in Waukegan (the g/f used to work there) but they had to dealer trade for it from Indiana too (almost in Indinapolis)

When is the next Import wars at GLD?

I saw a Yellow SS/SC in crystal lake the other day, guy waved.

I'm glad I am seeing more and more of you guys. I just need to see who is out here in my area Dekalb, NIU, Sycamore. There are a ton of Cobalts, but no one seems to be on CSS.net

I drive through Volo everyday. Have to keep my eyes open for ya.

Right now I live in the Bloomingdale Area and work in Plano and Joliet areas. I'll be moving to Plano in July after my house is finished.

Guys, I live in North Chicago, but my son lives in Grayslake & I work in Buffalo Grove. I'm all around Lake County though (Gurnee allot). People notice the yellow BEAST, as I like to call it. I need help with mods though. About ready to do the CAI, but I'm not the most mecahnically inclined. Just went over 8000 on my 06.
