That would have been me, yeh. I haven't seen another yellow one with a tinted license plate like mine. I like cruisin around in it. Gonna get the CAI in the next month or so.
I assume with a 12.98 time, you have a few extra mods??? Like to hear about them. I will keep adding mods over the next year.

I live in Grayslake and I've seen an orange SS/SC in Mundelein, but there's also a yellow SS n/a that I've seen around.

 

Hey guys, I live in Chicago but my parents are out in Barrington, my cousin has a lake house we party at in Antioch and my fiances parents are in McHenry so im out in the northern burbs all weekend. Only seen 2 SS/SC out there, 1 red and 1 yellow (the yellow owner works at a Best Buy and the car is brand new). I drive a black 05 ss/sc stock (for now). Are there any cobalt meets out here or around Chicago? Would be cool to meet other owners.

Buy it @ 0%. I'm not that fond of the color but don't pass up the deal. I may end up getting a metaalic paint job in a couple of years.
Honestly guys, GM did not perform a top flight paint job on our vehicles. The rest of you guys notice this?

IF may have been me on grand i take that way every day to work.I have black tinted windows and tail lights the small windows have ss carved into them that looks yellow

is it possible to have a cobalt SS with no ground effects and the standard wing? while driving in woodstock the other day i got behind a guy in a silver cobalt with SS tags (no supercharger) but he had the standard non SS wing and no ground effects. also it looked like he had the standard muffler with no chrome tip. is this guy driving a fake SS or what?

hey all, there are more and more of us out here....I just added one more car to our list. We now also own a Red SS/SC we picked up from Ray Chevy in Fox Lake with the 0% thing. We got stage 2 with it. I will be on the look out for more of you guys, and What goes on at the blockbuster in gurnee? I work Friday nights, maybe we should meet up there on Sat night?

 

Was that the fully loaded one? IF it was that was the one they were trying to sell to me. Not sure what happens at blockbuster but I know fridays nights at mcdonalds is cruise night if I remember correctly as they have a 50s mcdonalds there. Pretty cool been there a few times for cruise nights when I had the nova.

 

ppl get kick out at Mc D's after 10 so they go to blockbuster they are there on saturdays also.

 

yeah, That red one had all the options, they had a Blue one that sold before we got there and they had a Yellow one w/ everything that was used too.

I will have to check out the mcdonalds/blockbuster thing one night.

 

The yellow used one is still there. They want to much for it if you ask me. Put down another grand and you can have a brand new one.

 

we actually went to look at the Yellow used one, they said they'd take 20 for it, but the payments were still 100$ more a month than the new one we bought. The G/f really liked her yellow car, and is now talking about painting the Red one Yellow...lol

Anyway, the Yellow used one on the lot is a Repo, and they had a aftermarket radio, so the trim and stuff is scratched up, the Sun roof didn;t open, and there were several other scratches too. It did run well with 4000 miles, might have had a tune on it....

 

Its been sitting there a while i do know that mcuh cause they got it right after I picked up my car a couple months ago.

What time? I would love to get some sort of normal cruise thing going. I learned the addiction of parading around from my dad and his Corvette buddies...now we need something for us young guys.
