First ever 1/4 with my stock balt (race city)
Dont laugh to hard :P its my first run ever in the balt. and first ever run at race city
(relative alt was confirmed at over 5000ft)
it was a 15.3 and yes the darn toyota snagged me right at the trap by a nose
had a blast and really happy with the balt stock. DA conversion puts the run at about 14.3 which is not to shabby for someone as green as me.
enjoy

We all start somewhere bro and you're stock right. I know a buddy of mine talked a bunch of sh*t bc he has a 97 SVT cobra and he said he was gonna kill this Nissan Sentra(late 90's)....first time at the track though for my buddy. He STALLED IT ON THE LAUNCH!!!!!!! ha ha ha dumb ass!
I did a little research on the air quality/altitude conversions.
and at 5000ft the conversion was (from memory) 0.938 to your trap time
there was a MPH conversion ratio there too but i forget it.
and yeah basically 5000ft added a full second to my time compared to sea level.
its all smoke and mirrors to be honest....but it did give me a comparison to the advertised "14.1 quarter mile" toted by all the magazines for the SS/SC, im happy i was able to pull an equivalent time near that.
and i did snap him pretty nice off the line to
