Winter Steelies
Winter Steelies
Any places to pick from in our neck of the woods?? Lower Mainland
I have 1 place that can get 16" steel winter rims for $115 per, w/out rubber attached (at least from the few seconds of conversation I don't think there is rubber)
This seems a tad steep, or maybe for our bolt pattern we will be held hostage.
Anyone got a source for a decent price?

goto to Cost-co to get the catalog name for the supplier and the part #. then go to Canadian Tire to order. Cost-co cant get the rims but Canadian tire can. they can find the catalog or look it up. hope that helps

Thanks ssnipes.
Thanks ssnipes.
Well the Costco's here don't sell rims so they don't have part #'s. Prince George and Kamloops do but that is it for BC.
So I went down to the Can. Tire and the kid punched the car info in and they do have 16" steelies. They are a special order but they are available. $90 each and they have to be prepaid.
The Can. Tire # is X 41658 if anyone needs it.

The girl at Costco's tire centre said since we hardly get snow here they don't carry them. I asked if she had it in the computer and she said no.
Weird thing is on Can. Tire's site they have the 16" 5 x 115 bolt pattern. I am just glad they can get them.
Oh well $90 each isn't so bad. Only have to do it once.
I never thought of Saab.

I thought for sure you would see the salt trunks while making your rounds. Especially the Metrotown area.
if you have any hook-ups with a dealer, they should be able to get steel wheels and tires for you. My buddy works for a gm dealer up here and i got steel wheels and studded tires for $591. Thats his employee price. Its a smokin deal compared to shops. I think it was $62 per wheel.
