HP Tune Question?

if i get HP tunes how meany credits will come with it and how meany credits does it take for a 2.4L and a 2.0SS SC

Comes with 8 credits. You need 2 credits for each of those cars.

unfortunatly credits cannot be traded between units.

How do you get more credits? Yes—I know it's a stupid question, but I don't have HP Tuners and won't until they offer 2.2L tuning.

don't just unlock your car. use 6 credits to unlock your year car. that way you can use it on any car of that model and year.

or do like many & tune several vehicles in your household, personally over the last 2 years I've tuned my 98 Z28, my 99 Buick Century, my 00 Grand Prix GTP & I plan on buying another LS1 car very soon that I'll end up tuning.

yea i only have one car if i use 6 to unlock that year and model 2.4 it wont work with a cobalt SS SC then right?

The great thing is that its year/model locked so if you've got say an 05 Cobalt 2.4 and do the year/model license you'll be able to tune all 05 Cobalt 2.4's & 2.0's since its not engine locked

Can HPtune put the vin on a new pcm so it works on my car??

correct you'd be able to tune 2006 Chevy Cobalt 2.0 & 2.4 pcm's

as long as the vin matches the pcm year yes.
