Warranty???????

I got an e mail today requesting payment for shipping. I shipped you a defective ballast (out of my pocket) under warranty and now I get an automated email saying that I have to pay $25 US to get it shipped back to me? I returned it to a specified address here in Canada so why the hell am I being charged double the cost to ship the original ballast in US funds let alone charged at all? Absolutely ******* ridiculous. I was hoping your warranty would overshadow your shitty customer service but I guess I'm wrong.........again. This is the third kit I have bought from you and this last one needed to be spliced in (without being told before hand), blown a ballast and now being charged to ship your defective product back to me? I'll pay the shipping and this will be the last kit that I or anyone I know buys from you. Worst customer service and business practice I have ever seen

You being Canadian and local I suggest you buy them here from a guy I know here in Toronto. If you have no problems then all the more power to you but come time to replace something and you'll see what I mean by this post. Lock this thread for all I care I just wanted to vent and let others know what shitty customer service this vendor has, oh wait.....most already do.

ummm my foglight went out 2 weeks after installing too. I haven';t had a chance to check it though since I"ve been busy... but it will be tested this weekend. I hope I don't have to deal with this too. Mine was in the car for only 10 days. Installed correctly, I dunno

Resolved? They didn't reply to my emails and it was "pay the shipping or f**k you". I payed the $25 U.S. just to get my warranty ballast back as they responded to no other method be it phone or email. Funny how they don't reply to emails from customers asking relevant questions but they ship the ballast once paypal has been received! On top of that this clown doesn't stock these kits, he orders them from China and the wholesaler in China drop ships them. I had to wait a week after I payed to get my warranty ballast back and it had the same packing slip as the original order. The shipping cost is to get it shipped from China and not in North America as he leads us to believe. The "shipper" is a guy in China. **** jsut gets better and better, good luck to the rest on your warranty issues should they ever arise *knocks on wood*

I seriously don't know why this type of thread gets locked. Seems to me the info on the problems with vendors as well as the good stuff should be made public. Its stupid as **** for member after member to be fucked by companies and we can't warn anyone? What the ****?! Look I know you need the $$$$ from the advertising but the $$$$ shouldn't be put in front of the members! Thats just so not cool!

it has been publicly stated MANY times by the moderators that this site is NOT a democracy. it will be locked/and or deleted because the company pays hundreds of dollars to be a "supporting vendor", and the site making money is in many ways more important than helping other members avoiding being ripped off. i can remember a very specific situation when one certain member posted about a company that was a scam... it was not allowed to be talked about... however, a certain moderator KNEW that the company was a scam, said NOTHING, but cancelled his order through paypal, leaving everyone else that ordered to fend for themselves. he then even publicly stated that he KNEW, but was not allowed to say anything.

that's why this will be locked/deleted. money in their pocket is obviously more important that the protection of their members.

there email u right back when inquiring about products but when you have a problem watch out...im very upset that their products come from china...rediculous...who cares how much many ppl pay to be a supporting vendor it shouldnt be about that it should be about companys who have had good reviews...good products...and being known as a supporting vendor you should feel good about buying off them and know that theyre reputable now that should make them a supporting vendor....if threads like this keep getting locked then ppl will continuosly get screwed over and its not fair....i have a feeling im going to be out $169.99

Also when you recieve a product that is defective from the company in no way should I have to pay to send the product back that was broke when I got it and pay to have another one shipped its not my fault you decide to ship products from half way around the world and express shipping...yea thats a good one i never knew express shipping took a week....glad to see someones making a nice profit off peoples problems...

bump before its locked

doesn't matter if it's fair... it's money in their pocket... i'll probably get banned for saying that.

but i agree, it's messed up. i mean i can see their side, but i think we can figure out who's full of **** and who's not.

I was two seconds away from placing an order until I read this thread and their group buy. Looks like a customer service nightmare. No thanks.
