2.4L M62 Supercharged Pricing

Power Output

So far: 230WHP and 205WTQ



Track Time:

14.4 @ 100MPH 2.1 60'

What slowed it down?

- driver's first time at the track
- lengthly shifts
- passenger tuning
- head wind
- hot day
- running 18's off the G6

Potential

13.4 @ 104 MPH


Price for a kit with all new parts:

alternator $351.98
Eaton M62 $1087
lower intake manifold $532
Cobra Heat Exchanger $200
Bosch IC Pump $80
fitting and piping $60
GM stage 2 belt $40
ribbed idler $30
intercooler surge tank $65
intake you can use the GMPP for the 2.4L or see below

parts we will fabricate:

additional idler with bracket $150
IC pump bracket $100
CAI for M62 $250

So a grand total of $3025.98US with all new parts


Tuning will be an extra $250US

So with used parts and if you already have an intake the potential price can be:

alternator $50
Eaton M62 $500
lower intake manifold $300
Cobra Heat Exchanger $200
Bosch IC Pump $80
fitting and piping $60
GM stage 2 belt $40
ribbed idler $30
intercooler surge tank $65
2 bar map sensor $80

parts we will fabricate:

additional idler with bracket $150
IC pump bracket $100


So a grand total of $1655.00US with some used parts


Tuning will be an extra $250US

you can easily buy the supercharger from any of the 2.0L guys upping to a twin screw

look in local junk yards for the alternator and lower intake manifold.

Everything else is new.

no you don't need the boost, this made the power at 7.5psi which is in the efficiency range of the M62
