problem with chirping in going into 2nd.

Like the title says, during some driving manuevers were a lil extra speed is required, ill go to about 5000 or so in 1st and normally slide in into 2nd, while slowly letting out on the clutch, and i still get a small chirp. this is bad because i dont want a cop to think im racing, or speeding and whatnot. my question is, am i just driving wrong cause i dont think this car is that powerful. i have a 4dr sedan ls with manual trans. any help would be appreciated or if im the only one.

well i have a 06 cobatl ls sedan( 5speed) and its got the shitty 15in hubs with the crappy tires. im guessing thats the main reason, but it does it even when i just need to somewhat drive aggressive if i pull out onto a fedar road or whatever ya know.
