NHRA sport compact at Pomona

The Phase5 ran this weekend at the Sport Compact event at Pomona. We qualified for the Quick 16 class in the number 11 spot. Our qualifying time was an 11.23 @120 mph. We had it at 23 pounds of boost...Eigth mile time was a 7.15 at 95 mph and athe 60' foot was 1.646.. The car ran great. Unfortunately going into the second round, our throttle cable broke and we couldnt finish the race. But the car ran great and we can wait to see how we will do in Palmdale in a couple of weeks.

I almost broke a throttle cable, but caught it as I lifted the hood to let the car cool off between rounds. I think it comes from trying to push the throttle THROUGH the floorboard...
