so i ran a 9.8 @ 72.09 mph i wish i had a scanner so i could upload the slip.
all stock except a k&n air filter.
some kids like talkin **** sayin i wont run a 9.8? when im holding the slip in my hand? i dont get it, anyway i wont be taking it to run until i get more mods.
a few people wanted to run but i had to leave, a stock srt-4 and a saturn w/ bolt ons. wish i could've stayed...o well

Those are good times. Is your car an automatic or stick? Either way not bad numbers. They will continue to get better with seat time especially reaction times. Most races are won at the start line so finding out where your car leaves best is really important. Good luck.

 

Hey man, where did you go to run? Since Sunshine Speedway is shut down I have no idea where to go. Next time you go...wherever it is, let me know, I'll go with you. As long as I'm not working.

 

you have an SS but a 9.8 is not really that fast for the 1/8 of a mile. I was running 9.7's on my old cavalier Z24 NA

 

sunshine is open every wed night for free runs. It was $22 for me and a passenger to run.

and SS's only come in 5 speed, at least for 05 that is.

 

Damn, I thought they shut Sunshine down.

 

nope, ive been going there since i was a sophmore in high school, more people show up around 730-8 o clock its only on wed night tho.

 

Sucks, I work Wed nights. Oh well.

2nd run I actually spun 3rd a little for the first and only time... lost a little at the end...

 

my stock ss/sc with G85 ran 9.22 at 76mph in the 1/8. that just proves that a 9.8 is possible... i hate **** talkers! good run!
