Thumbs up Upper Mesh Grill!

I don't know if this is a repost but I have always been looking for an upper mesh grill.
I have found one. It comes in 2 styles. A diamond mesh and a circle mesh. $39.99
The only upper mesh grills I have seen have been hand made by members.

No doubt. That is a sick price. I might have to grab this and spray it black.

You can ask to have it powdercoated gloss black for $19.99 more, or powdercoated flat black for $14.99 more I believe.

I was gonna pick some of these up, but wasn't sure if the zip-ties showed or not, if you get some, post pictures of the product fully installed.

I custom made mine for $20!! Including paint I painted the outer plastic to match my car color. Took some good hours and patience to do though, but came out really nice...so yeah thats not a bad price!

X2.... Besides the zip tie thing, you will probably be able to see the stock grille behind it, which to me seems a little ricey. But to each, his own.

I just ordered the Big Sample Pack with Trim Samples.
http://www.customcargrills.com/prodd...rod=samplepack

I'm gonna see what would look best on my car and just order a sheet of what I like through them and make my own.

Basically when you order the Big Sample Pack, they give you $5.00 off your next order, and the pack costs $5.00, so all your basically paying for is shipping and handling.

That sounds good. I didn't know it zip tied to the stocker.
I wonder how that would look. Like how much of the stocker would you see?

overlays are ugly, go to customcargrilles.com and you can order some different styles of mesh grille with the option to have them painted alredy.

Yeah the problem is you have to cut up your stocker.

Most people don't want to do that. Then you have to glue the mesh to your stocker. That mesh works perfect for the lower grill.

I wish a company would just put out a full replacement.

I paid $2 for the stuff on the lower right of that sample pic at home depot. I cut out the fins on the stocker and used some epoxy to attach it. It was a bit more work to cut that stuff out with a dremel, but it looks really good.

Does that epoxy hold up well? I would love to make one if it's going to last.

Do you have picks of yours?

i have bought from that place before for my cavi, usually its a flat peice cut in the shape of the grill, with lil clips, so u cut a half square out, bend it inward, and use the clip to clamp it on, it looks ok.
